Restricted access#

Access levels#

Bacularis allows granting Bacularis Web users access to selected resources at the following levels:

  • Bacularis Web pages – access to specific Bacularis Web pages using role-based access control (RBAC). See the Access to pages chapter for more details.

  • Bacula resources – access to specific Bacula resources using the Bacula Console ACL feature. See the Access to Bacula resources chapter for more details.

  • Function access – access to specific Bacularis functions such as configuration, status, console, and others, using OAuth2 scopes. See the Access to functions chapter for more details.

Each of these security levels can be used individually or in combination. They operate independently and can be enabled or disabled for users at any time.
