Here's the new May report. Find out what's happening in our project.
Hello Community,
How are you doing? April is already behind us, and it's been quite a productive time for the Bacularis project. If you'd like to catch up on what's been happening – and what's coming next – we invite you to read this latest report.
This release is now behind us. We successfully released version 6.1.0 as planned. It introduces a new global resource search, dashboard improvements, support for new operating systems, and more.
We're happy we could deliver it and would like to thank you for all the reactions and feedback we've received. Your input is an incredibly valuable source of insight that helps us continue improving the project.
We've launched a new Bacularis profile on Mastodon, hosted on the FLOSS.social server. You can find us here:

As mentioned in our April report, we've been working on a new plugin for backing up Amazon EC2 servers. Development is now at a very advanced stage, and we're approaching the end of implementation, with testing about to begin.
We can already say that this will be the most advanced Bacularis plugin we've ever created. We're really excited to release it and put it into your hands. Before that, though, we still have extensive testing ahead of us in the AWS environment.
The next release, version 6.2.0, is planned for the second half of May – so it's just around the corner. We're really looking forward to this upcoming release. It will mainly include the Amazon EC2 plugin, along with a few smaller improvements.
As always, we'll keep you updated via our social media channels regarding new features and any changes. If you have any feedback about Bacularis, please share it with us on the Bacularis User Group forum: group.bacularis.app
After releasing version 6.2.0, we're planning to take a short break for a few days to recharge and prepare for the next Bacularis challenges.
For now, we hope you enjoy using Bacularis.
See you in the next report!
On behalf of the Bacularis Team
