This is a new report in which you can read about what's new in the project.
Hello Everyone,
We’re back with a new set of updates and plans from the Bacularis Project as we approach the end of the year and look ahead to the near future. If you’d like to know what’s happening in Bacularis, you’re in the right place.
At the beginning of December, we successfully released version 5.9.0, which includes the MS SQL Server plugin and several other enhancements. This release has proven to be stable and solid. Thank you very much for all your feedback.
After the release, we spent some time building RPM binary packages due to changes in SELinux packages in base RPM-based systems.
In addition, thanks to @masmika, we are preparing new video guides. As always, we provide ongoing support for the community.
We are currently preparing changes for the next release, which will be version 5.10.0. This release will focus on several key areas:
In addition to these major items, version 5.10.0 will include important fixes and other improvements. We are planning to release it in the first half of January 2026.
We are also working on changes to the Bacularis user panel at users.bacularis.com, which provides services that help finance Bacularis development. These changes are required to adapt the panel to upcoming changes in Polish invoicing law, which will take effect in February 2026. We hope these changes will not delay the release of version 5.10.0.
As we reach the end of 2025 and approach the new year 2026, we would like to wish you all the very best for the coming year. We hope that 2026 brings you many positive things.
Have a great end of the year, and see you in the next report!
On behalf of the Bacularis Team,
Marcin Haba (gani)
