This is a new the status report where you can read what is going in the Bacularis Project.

Hello Everybody,

We are happy to present you with another Bacularis project status report. Let’s take a look at what’s new in the world of Bacularis.

Project Objectives

We have outlined the objectives of the project – a definition of the direction in which we want to take Bacularis. We strongly encourage you to read through them. This way, everyone can see the vision and learn about the long-term plans for our web interface.

Think of this document as an architectural sketch of a house that we want to build together, floor by floor. We can find the page with the objectives here:

Share Your Feedback

We do our best to track the current needs of the Community regarding Bacularis and its features. However, we cannot be everywhere, nor can we notice every single idea or comment. Our minds are real treasure troves of ideas. Sometimes a casual remark dropped on a forum or discussion group perfectly highlights what’s wrong, or what could be improved or added.

But many ideas remain unspoken, locked in our heads. Feedback doesn’t have to be only about the interface and its features. Sometimes someone needs a video tutorial on a specific topic, or perhaps something is missing from the documentation. This is invaluable information that can help a lot. It would be a shame to waste it, so let’s make sure to share it out loud.

A good place to share your feedback is the discussion group forum. Its address is:

What’s Ahead

The next weeks of work are coming. As for new features – this time it will be a surprise for all of us. We hope you’ll like it. We are planning the next release, version 5.7.0, which development has recently begun.

See you in the next report. Enjoy using Bacularis!

On behalf of the Bacularis Team
