We are ready to support Bacularis packages for Debian 13 Trixie.

We are ready to support Bacularis packages for Debian 13 Trixie.

Three days ago the Debian Team shared the release plan for the first stable version of Debian 13 Trixie on the 9th of August 2025. Thank you the Debian Team for your work on Trixie.

Almost two weeks before this date we prepared our Bacula web interface for this new coming Debian version. We built packages both in Free and Subscription repositories. Now the repositories are uploaded and packages are ready to install in the Bacularis User Panel at users.bacularis.com.

We also prepared OS profile to support remote Bacula and Bacularis installation on hosts with Trixie. Besides the deployment functions we checked also the local Bacula installation via the Bacularis install wizard. These changes for OS profiles have been committed in the GitHub repository and they will wait on the next Bacularis release.
