We would like to recommend a Docker Hub container project with Bacularis that we lately found.
Yesterday Johann reported a bug to Bacularis ([BUG]). He also told us about his Docker Hub project in which he prepares and provides the Bacula and Bacularis Docker environment.
It is complete and fully configurable solution. The container images are available in two flavours: with Ubuntu 22.04 and with Alpine 3.19. Configuration very flexible and it is possible via many environment variables. Bacula is available in the latest stable 13.0.3 version.
From the Bacula components side everything is on place: Bacula Director, Bacula Storage Daemon, Bacula Client and of course latest Bacularis. Also available are PostgreSQL database and mail server containers. To set everything up the project uses docker-compose which is a tool run multi-container applications with Docker.
More information about this Johann's project you can find in his Docker Hub repository here:
Bacularis is a friendly fork of Baculum founded by Baculum's creator. It has been created to provide the Bacula web interface in easy way, with simple installation and configuration. Changes between Baculum and Bacularis are synchronized in both ways as much as it is possible.
Bacularis is licensed under GNU Affero General Public License (GNU AGPL) version 3.
